About Sandra
A bit more to know
You can call me a Gen Xer, and many would define me as a career woman, although you don’t ever hear men who are career-oriented called out as career men (a topic of discussion for another day). And just like you, I am always searching for that elusive balance, blend, or integration with family, fun, personal growth, career development, continuous learning, and relaxation. I’ve spent the past few years learning how to enjoy sports on a more meditative and leisurely level. It is a constant battle with my mind that tells me I can still participate competitively, speed and agility as if I am 18 years old. My joints are telling me otherwise – oh, the joys of middle-aged bones.

I enjoy drinking a good cup of coffee and tea, having a sour beer occasionally, healthy foods, fast foods, trying new hobbies, and finding time to stick with the ones I truly enjoy. I’ve been a public servant for just about 20 years (yep, I am a proud civil service employee) and a newly born entrepreneur (also proud and very exciting). And I am finding time to write again. I have had a few blogs off and on over the years, and I think now is the right time to get back on that horse, saddle, wagon (any of those idioms will do). It is also an excellent complement to my new business venture as a content writer. As they say, your writing becomes better with practice, practice, practice.
So this is a bit of a very general overview about me before you dive into my psyche.
